To put it bluntly, we have none. However, we do expect something. Like Leafheart said in her guide here, it's pretty annoying to read posts . . . like that. Here are a few more common issues.
Powerplay
Pretend that my only characters in every example are Wildflower and Abby. (:
WHOA. Hold up there and stop. That was a rather lame example of powerplaying. I, the roleplayer of Wildflower, suddenly took control of Prettypowder, a made-up character that is definitely not in MountainClan. However, I still took control of it, which I shouldn't have. You shouldn't play characters that aren't in the 'Join' board, and you shouldn't play characters that aren't yours unless you have permission.
Here's something that you can do, though:
It was rather short and not descriptive, but it's allowed. Wildflower is my character, so I'm allowed to have her eyes scratched out by a fox. [Foxes don't really count as characters here, it's too complicated. You can make one appear at random, but don't forget that it'll most likely cause a commotion.]
This, however, is NOT allowed:
Lightstar isn't my character! D< It's the roleplayer's decision if they want Lightstar's tail to be bitten, thank you very much. You should instead say this:
Then you can hope with all your might that Leafheart, Lightstar's roleplayer, feels merciful and giving that day. Maybe she won't mind having her beautiful she-cat's tail amputated.
Short Posts
Short posts really get me a bit mad, even though I'm guilty at times as well. Really, how can people reply to this?
It gets me even angrier when I see THIS:
Really, the NERVE! XD Please, when you write a post, at the beginning of a thread or as a reply in a thread, make it as descriptive as you could afford to without powerplaying or godmoding. You could, maybe, write this:
It doesn't have to be that long. It can be shorter or longer if you want. Just . . . please, make it more than two words? XD;;
