[/i] The red Abyssinian-looking cat thought. He rested his head on his paws and focused on a small bug that had dedicated it's day to walking around in circles. Although it is amusing, someone should put the poor thing out of it's misery. Sunpelt decided, batting the bug out of the den. He let out a long and lazy yawn, flexing his claws in the dirt and wondering what he wanted to do that day. Sure, there were plenty of things that had to be done. The elders needed grooming, food, and fresh bedding. The queens needed to be relieved of their kits for a little while, and the apprentices needed to be given a job to keep them busy. The fresh kill pile needed to be filled, the borders needed patroling, and Soulberry probably needed someone to help gather herbs. "But all that can wait. . . you shouldn't neglect your own needs." He told himself with a small chuckle. Today was. . . well, a lazy day. But that was perfectly fine. Every hardworking, loyal cat needed a day off, didn't they?[/size][/blockquote][/blockquote][/ul]

"You got that right." Meowed a silver tabby. SilverStripe, Mudstar's mate, trotted into the den, a tired expression on his face. "I've been trying to talk to Mudstar, but she just keeps herself in her den all the time. And she hasn't paid any attention to our kits... they should be apprentices by now..." He gave an exasperated sigh and plopped down in his nest.
