The cliff above the camp, which also gives life to the highest waterfall around. This cliff is the best place to observe the jungle - and the most dangerous place for apprentices who do not know how to climb properly. This place is the home of many a bird, many a herb and many a chance of falling to your death. There is a safer way, but it takes three times as long as two scramble up.
Near the camp, atop the cliff, is an open meadow which borders the river. The grass grows long here, to train the apprentices for the unexpected, and rocks jut out randomly through the field. Even roots strech across the ground, threatening to trip an unsuspecting apprentice. This place is also a good meadow to find the rarest of herbs.
Perhaps this is why the territory is called the Labyrinth... The Atrum Maze is made of many, many trees growing together, blocking out the sun and having limbs and roots which grow wildly all over the place. Thorn bushes are common in the Atrum Maze, and those who do not know their way around can get lost fast. The only way to get out is to find The Sky Rush, and follow it to the camp, or to The Mire.
This place is the most dangerous of all. The Mire is a swamp, with fish that will kill and huge lizards with snapping jaws. The safest way to travel is to ride on one of the crude ships, propelled by sticks. The Mire will suck a cat into it's depths, and it will poison many a kit who drinks from it's waters. The only safe place in the Mire is the delta, where fresh water meets acid.
The Sky Rush is the only known water source to the Mire. It is the safest upstream, but where it meets the Mire is also a place of safety - no Mire Monster ventures into the pure waters. The Sky Rush Also slithers through The Atrum Maze. It has lead many a warrior to his home - or his death.
