Nameless View(OPEN) « Thread Started on Dec 1, 2008, 7:00pm »
The sun was bright today, blue sky peaking out from behind clouds, a cool breeze swept through the plants on the Grande Cliff, one of the more pleasant area's of Mountainclan's territory. The water fall nearby fell deep below from the outcrop into a river, its constant crashing not bothering the tabby she-cat near by.
The Tabby yawned and stretched out on the flat rock near the very edge of the water fall, over looking the rest of destiny mountain below her in the distance. She had grown accustomed to sitting on the edge of this dangerous out cropping, after all- she had been coming here every day since she left the two legs, slowly learning the skills of balance and claws. This tabby had no name, not yet anyways, but she didn't feel she needed one at the moment...
The she-cat relaxingly watched a small stick with some scratches fall over the side into the river below. Oh how she loved this view!
A cold wind blew through her fur reminding her that this nice weather would soon turn grey, and then she would have to retreat from her spot deep into the forest to stay warm.
A bird with bright colors flew over head and into the tree's, the cat tensed and perked her ears for a second, then relaxed... the creature coming was no threat.

Duskkit crept up behind the strange cat. Take that Cinderleaf! Mudstar! Soulpaw(?berry?)! Duskkit had escpaed form the FlameClan camp once again. She had hunted and would proudly bring back her prey to all of them. But first, she nneded to explore, Duskkit had crept up here, loving the wya the wind holwed and spoke to her in its never neding patience and love for her, guinding her to this stranger.

The cat twitched her ear in the direction of the noise but did not move her head. "come out you. I know your there." She said smiling. The she-cat kept her eyes on the horizon, smiling still, her mood could not be changed at this point. She twitched her tail and motioned the small cat towards her, sniffing the breeze that brought the scent to her. "Your not supposed to be out here are you? I can smell that your far too young to wander alone like this, and I wouldn't be surprised if the others come looking for you." The nameless cat spoke again. She smelt the scent of other cats to, some she smelt on markers not to long ago. "And especially near such a drop as this." Her tail motioning towards the water fall near by. Her gaze not moving towards the kitten.

Duskkit snorted but otherwise cmae out with her tail between her legs *do cats do that?* she looked very lsot, "Im blind, but Im not deaf, I can tell where the drop starts," she said meakly to the cat, "I can tell by your voice youre a she-cat too, and you seem gentle enough becasue you didnt poucne on me or growl, so maybe I got lucky today," Duskkit mewed. The stranger couldnt take away the pride and happiness she felt for her climbing into *or onto* the Mountain Clanm territory all by herself.

The nameless She-cat pricked her ears in curiosity. She hadn't noticed that the kit was blind, and it knew so much on hoe to read the air and sounds around her. "Your a skilled little kitten, it is your lucky day then." The cat smiled and slowly sat up, flexing her lean muscles under her soft pelt. "what is your name then?" she asked politely, turning her head towards the kitten; swiping her tongue over a piece of fur on her back.

Duskkit purred internly, she was happy the nameless cat was being so accpeting, she puffed out her small chest, "Im Duskkit, from FlameClan and my mother is Streamflower, Im blind," the little kit said to the cat, "A truth for a truth please, whats your name?" she stared blankly at the cat, but her eyes were wide, "And why am I lucky?"
